The dice is an excellent resource that could be used to support many areas of development. The children I used it with really appeared to enjoy it and responded to it well
- Nice size
- Easy to record voice/sounds
- Clear sound - clarity of sound is good
- Like the way it senses what picture it has landed on and says what it is
- Easy to change the pictures - adapt it for the child or group of children
- Good size buttons
- Like the way that you can push the button if the children have missed what it said the first time

I love the simplicity of this product but the children in my class never get tired of using it. They just love to roll the ball on the floor or table to hear the messages that either the children or myself has recorded on it. I have found that the Chatterblock is a great product for creating stories. The children have created characters and settings for the different narrative genres we have been looking at in class and have been creating pictures and recordings, then writing short stories using the blocks.
I have found them really useful as number generators in Numeracy as a new and fun way to create calculations to complete and especially during Modern Foreign Language lessons, where they have been really helpful when practising vocabulary.
