Designed with the help of an Occupational Therapist, this resource is great for children who have difficulties with accurately perceiving the amount of pressure needed when writing. Children are informed that they are about to embark on a top secret mission.Their name is Secret Agent P which refers to 'pressure-sensitive' ability in both passing on important messages; and staking-out the mission-field. Their task is to pass on a hush-hush message to their fellow agents. The number of agents who need to receive such information is determined by the child's needs. If heavy pressure is an issue, instructions should be given to pass the message to only one agent. The child must then learn how to limit writing pressure so that the key information is transferred, through the carbonated pad, to one sheet of paper only. If light pressure is an issue for the child, the agent must press down enough to pass on the secret message to 2 or 3 other agents. By varying this game children can learn how much pressure they need to apply to be successful in their mission. Comes with notes.
